Allendale’s support services build on the progress a child may have already made in our programs and clinical environments. They include:

Weekly contact and visits to the home by an Allendale Foster Care worker, who monitors the child and the family’s needs and provides consultation

Individual, family, and group therapy

Mentoring services to enhance a child’s social and interpersonal functioning

Comprehensive case management services, using a team approach

Psychiatric and psychological evaluations and medication monitoring, as indicated

Financial support for respite care to allow the foster family to take a break if needed

24-hour availability for crisis intervention for children and foster parents

Facilitated access to appropriate educational services and support for the child’s needs and progress

Ongoing training and education for foster parents to support the continuing growth and development of the child

Support for the child’s primary relationships, including facilitated visitation with the natural and extended family
